“Growing up in Pembroke, my brothers and sisters and I went to an incredible soccer camp every summer run by Coach Dean Schneider (the founder of the original World Cup Soccer Camp). We learned how to properly play the great game of soccer while having an absolute blast, even our least talented brother, Christian, loved going to camp!!”

Our Six Coaching Pillars of Soccer Success

  • Total Soccer

“Total Soccer” is a soccer philosophy made famous by the Dutch super club Ajax. It develops players who are highly skilled and tactically aware and can play any position on the pitch.

  • Learn Through Play

There is no better teacher of soccer than the game itself. Our Learn Through Play approach gives our campers real match experience that will develop their soccer IQ and confidence.

  • Participation For All

We have created an all-inclusive and dynamic curriculum to involve all campers, regardless of their ability or background. Players get maximum involvement for maximum improvement.

  • Competitive Training

We believe that progress is best achieved through competitive and fair training sessions, which also makes training much more fun and enjoyable—while developing grit and desire.

  • Character

We believe character is the real foundation of all worthwhile success. Hence, we aim to inspire good character in all our campers by incorporating character into everything we do.

  • Fun

Training should involve hard work, but this doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be fun. That is why we have created an educational and fun-filled program that will inspire our campers to excel and have a great time.

GET THE CHAMPION’S EDGE!

At Champions Camp we aren't offering any pie-in-the-sky promises. We simply tell our campers this: If you want to be a great soccer player, then you must earn it through old-fashioned hard work and determination. Not only does our approach develop sound players, but instills within them the Champion’s Edge, which is an inner-confidence of knowing you have worked harder than your opponent and therefore deserve to win. We want our campers to dream without limits, but know that before they can obtain success, they must truly deserve it.

DAILY SCHEDULE

Mornings: Skills & Tactics: At Champions Soccer Camp we thoroughly break down and teach the fundamental skills and tactics of the game, while emphasizing character-based pinciples of success. Also, included are our 1v1 Magic Moves that enable our campers to be unstoppable forces on the pitch.

Afternoons: Small-Sided Match Play: Each camper will be assigned to a top European soccer club that will compete in the Champions League. Play will consist of small-sided matches that allow for maximum touches for maximum improvement. It also enables our coaches to evaluate and teach during match play.

The league culminates on Friday with our Champions League Ceremony and Tournament to determine the Champions of Europe!🏆

How do you get to Wembley Stadium? Practice, Practice, Practice, like Courtney!

In 1997, England played Penn State University during halftime of the FA Charity Shield match between Manchester United and Chelsea at Wembley Stadium in London. Penn State won 2-0 and both goals were scored by former camper and PYS player Courtney Lawson DeSena. And of course, Manchester United defeated Chelsea. “Glory, Glory, Man United! As the Reds go marching on, on, on!”
