A Character-Based Approach to Inspiring Excellence

This one-of-a-kind professional training day provides teachers with proven character-based instructional strategies and techniques that will enable them to be inspirational forces for excellence, who bring out the best in all of their students, from strugglers to academic all-stars. Our goal is to produce students who are ethically sound, socially connected, and academically astute. In a nutshell, it is all about good behavior, good relationships, and good grades.

Our unique teacher-friendly seminars are not only filled with sound and practical content, but are innovative, entertaining, and inspirational. Teaching with Character is not another add-on program to fit into an already full curriculum, rather a unique “add-in” approach that can be easily integrated into any curriculum and classroom management plan. However, the biggest benefit of Teaching with Character is it works. It has been proven successful year after year, even in some of the most challenging classroom environments.

“CHARACTER EDUCATION IS NOT ONE MORE THING

TO ADD TO YOR PLATE. IT IS THE PLATE!”

Teaching with Character Works!

“Students who participate in rigorously designed and well-taught character education programs show improved academic outcomes, demonstrate more positive social behavior, enhanced resiliency, and are less likely to engage in risky or disruptive behavior, including risk-taking with alcohol and other drugs.” (Ashdown & Bernard, 2012; Casal, 2013; Durlack et al., 2011; Payton et al., 2008)

“THERE NEVER WAS A GOOD KNIFE MADE OF BAD STEEL.”

Ben Franklin

We recently had Dean Schneider present his Teaching with Character presentation at our school. The whole staff was absolutely blown away. The presentation was engaging, thought provoking and inspiring in every way. It was also so relevant to the principles we have been developing in school linked to Growth Mindset and emotional resilience
